Graduate in Marine Biology and Fisheries with a MSc on Fisheries and Aquaculture by the Faculty of Environment and Marine Sciences of the University of the Algarve.

Current Research Interests

Current studies on the spatial planning for the South Coast of Portugal using spatial analysis tools such as MARXAN and MARXAN with Zones into GIS softwares. Involved in the study on the design and planning of a Marine Protected Area (MPA) using distribution of ecological features and the distribution of socio-economic activities. Curently involved on the mapping of marine habitats on the South Coast of Portugal. Other areas of interest include:
